I was left with the dog on Sunday while partner was out riding, so me and Archie went off to Chatsworth House

XP2 developed in Rodinal 1+25 for 17 minutes

I agree with Paul - lovely series.

 

Regarding processing - this is a C41 film and processed as recommend it is amazingly good (in my view).

 

Why do you use Rodinal? Can you demonstrate better results? Sharper? Longer tones/scale? Anything quantifiable and "showable" by way of comparison?

 

I am not trying to make a case, but I am VERY happy with XP2 in C41. If Rodinal is demonstrably better it would be nice to know - evidence based - how and maybe even why.

Ilford sent me 10 roll that was just out of date for free so i just thought i would try it to see if it could be done, i don't know if its better or not but i have had some good results that i like, i will send one in and see what difference there is i usually use Fomapan 400, HP5,FP4
