cto4cwh Posted October 22, 2012 Share #1 ย Posted October 22, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been annoyed by this little problem for quite some time. I have set and saved different profiles for non-coded lenses on my M9P, say one for Zeiss lenses, and another for Voigtlander lenses. But whenever I make a change to any one of the image parameters saved in such a profile, the profile name would change to a "-", not knowing if I am still using the saved profile parameters save the the latest change. Can anyone help please?
Advertisement Posted October 22, 2012 Posted October 22, 2012 Hi cto4cwh, Take a look here Saved profiles in M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted October 22, 2012 Share #2 ย Posted October 22, 2012 This behaviour is normal. The profile records a group of camera settings. If you then depart from that set, it is no longer the original profile you are using and it would no longer be correct to bear the original user name. ย I frequently depart from my chosen profile, but reset it as soon as I move from the scene requiring such adjustments. tobey bilek Posted October 23, 2012 Share #3 ย Posted October 23, 2012 Specific profiles for color belong in photoshop. ย User profiles for different lenses should be done in manual lens correction coding. ย User profiles are for general use parameters like sun, daylight color bal, or high ISO and tungsten bal.
