michali Posted October 20, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted October 20, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Monochrom & 28mm Summicron, 50mm Summilux ASPH & 75mm Summicron ASPH Â I picked up my new Monochrom from my dealer in Nice this afternoon and headed straight for the main square. Amidst the hustle and bustle in the square, I met Daniel, a wonderful character from Martinique. Â The images have minimum post processing other than playing around a little in Silver Efex to add some contrast and grain. The files straight out of the camera initially look rather flat, however I'm amazed how they come to life with not too much post processing. Â Unfortunately it's very difficult to appreciate the MM's image quality due to the reduction in size for uploading here. vdb Posted October 20, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted October 20, 2012 Michael Nice to see these I have had mine for several weeks but no time to shoot But I love how flare the raw files are. Like a properly exposed negative. With so much room to play with. Looking forward to more.
pauledell Posted October 21, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted October 21, 2012 Mike, Â The results you have shown us leads me to believe if the photographer's vision is monochrome only, this camera and lenses could practically replace a LF camera. stuny Posted October 22, 2012 Share #4 Â Posted October 22, 2012 Mike - Â Yikes! Even with this inferior downsizing these are superb, especially those two of Daniel.

Jerren Posted October 22, 2012 Share #6 Â Posted October 22, 2012 Wow, I love these. Especially 1 and 4. I have no idea how you were able to focus the first one. I'm not able to do that yet, at least not intentionally.
