How to take moving subject without blurr picture

Recommended Posts

Before we can find a solution to this complex problem we have to know first:

Is this M9 your camera?

Did you buy it? Did it come in a box?

Or did you find it and if so, was the manual gone?

pre focus and use f 11.

if in the evening, raise iso and reduce shutter to 1/15, f 5.6 to f 8.

f11 in the day and f5.6 or f8 at night makes no sense at all to me, sorry. I have never shot at f11 and the maximum I have shot in the evening is f2.8 in f number terms.

OP - If you want to catch movement in focus you will probably need to pre focus and know your depth of field. You will also need a fast shutter speed, this is with a 50mm at 1/500th f4. the DOF is enough but I would need to up the speed and open the aperture (reducing the DOF) or increase the ISO to stop very fast movement being blurred. I have also tried 'panning' if the movement is one directional and easier to track.

I think these comments are as useful as someone trying to sell ice to the eskimos.
