M9-P + 35mm 'lux FLE = incorrect aperture info in metadata

I recently purchased these two and i'm getting incorrect aperture data recorded in the metadata.

ย

First column is actual aperture used, second is what was recorded in the metadata (as read by adobe bridge CS5 4.0.0.529), and third is what came up using this program as 'appr. aperture'. I am running firmware 1.196 on the M9-P.

My question is, is this just a software related issue and trying to find one that reads the files correctly, or do i have a problem with my M9-P and/or lens?

Thank you all - I feel like a complete luddite :o

ย

You're welcome and please don't. There is so much to know about "our" camera that it can be really tough to know where to start. You've already found the answer to that: it's here where you start.

ย

You can't be a luddite; if you were one, you'd use fingerpaint on cave walls, I think.
