Hy Andy,

a fine photograph (as usual) and the proof that the time is running so fast......which can be seen by the growth of your children.......

The general rule says to use a shutter speed similar to your film speed and f/16, but this doesnt work up north where I live.

Same here in Chicago, at least in winter. Even on the brightest days, Sunny 11 seems a better rule.

I have just ordered a Sekonic L308A Studio Deluxe.

I had one 20 or 30 years ago which got stolen. Really looking forward to going 'retro' with it and my 'new' Leica 111f. Been practicing guestimate exposure for a few months. The old skills are returning but it will be nice to have backup.

My L-328 was my best friend until it died. I got another L-308b when I bought my M3 and it's been a Godsend. And now, my MR-4.
