andyedward Posted October 3, 2012 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know why desirable lenses pop up for sale despite them being back ordered? Many sellers will advertise luxes as being out of stock and only being available to order, but one will occasionally be in stock. Do people back out of their order, or do stores order them without a buyer in sight, knowing it'll sell anyway?
Advertisement Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Hi andyedward, Take a look here Desirable lens availability?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
skinnfell Posted October 3, 2012 Share #2 Posted October 3, 2012 Probably a combination of both... I once backed out of a order, having waited 5 months for a 75/2 I got tired and spent my money elsewhere. And lo and behold, a month later the dealer had one for sale. It sat for about two days I think.
