lars_bergquist Posted September 21, 2012 Share #25 Posted September 21, 2012 I have a 21mm Super-Elmar, a 35mm v.2 Summilux ASPH, a 50mm Summilux ASPH, a 90mm Elmarit-M and a 135mm Apo-Telyt and I will never need another M lens. SteveYork Posted September 21, 2012 Share #26 Posted September 21, 2012 Most people don't have experience with much more then 5 M mount lenses, so they just end up listing what they have used. I like any type of 50 Summicron though, especially the type 3 for most B&W film (the newer optical version (4&5) is a better all rounder). For practical reasons I find that I use the 50 Summicron more then the 50 Summilux asph (just too big). One my favorite 50s of all time was a Planar in a Contarex mount. Great lens from the mid-60's, and still able to hold its' own against the giants of the modern day. I understand the 50 planar ZM is very nice too. pico Posted September 21, 2012 Share #27 Posted September 21, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) 15mm Voigtlander 35mm Summilux pre-ASPH (version 2) 50mm Summitar (coated, round aperture) 75mm Summilux I would like to have an earlier 50mm Summicron again. That's it. All relatively old. I do not like the ASPH lenses at all. .

kemal_mumcu Posted September 22, 2012 Share #31 Posted September 22, 2012 21 super-elmar 24 summilux 28 summicron 50 Noctilux 75 summarit Truly if Santa is giving out free I should replace the 75 summarit with the 75 summicron. But the filter size is a bit deal for b&w film work. 46mm goes with the other compact lenses.

ramosa Posted September 26, 2012 Share #35 Posted September 26, 2012 let's see ... as primarily a 35-90 guy ... 1) lux 35 asph v1 (which i have) 2) nocti 50 f/1 (which i don't have and can't afford) 3) cron 50 v5 (which i have) 4) elmarit-m 90 (which i have) 5) rollei planar 80mm hft (which i had, but regrettably sold to rationalize #4 on this list) these lenses would facilitate some cool one, two and three lens kits.
