I am not an expert. However, I do use 3 cam lenses on my Leicaflex MkII.

To maximize compatibility replace the Leicaflex's battery cover with a slimmer battery cover like the one from the SL2's second battery compartment. The 100 APO, 80-200mm f/4 and 280mm f/4 APO are among those requiring the slim battery cover.

Most, but not all, 3-cam lenses are OK on a Leicaflex; it is 3rd cam lenses that do not meter, and that is the source of the confusion: 3-cam vs 3rd cam.
