Advertisement Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Hi spylaw4, Take a look here Point. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
davephoto Posted July 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2006 nice perspective of an interesting building, brian. a bit of noise is noticeable in the sky and windows. iso 200 or above?
stuny Posted July 20, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2006 Brian - Very nice, especially since you have the V forming from the lower corner of the photo. Does the V actually arc just a bit, or is that lens distortion. Either way, the photo works.
spylaw4 Posted July 20, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 20, 2006 Dave - ISO 100 as are all my shots. Not sure why it should be noticeably noisy - any ideas? It is however a cropped photo. Stuart - I titled it from the point of the V! It's a double curve which possibly explains the effect you are noticing. Thanks to you both! It is however a cropped photo. hi brian, most of the iso 100 images coming from the D2 are normally pretty clean. could it be that this photo may have had some adjustment in the post processing which may have included some lightening of the shadow area? this tends to increase what we perceive to be 'noise'. spylaw4 Posted July 21, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted July 21, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dave, that's probably the reason - but I can't offhand remember what processing I applied. I use Lightroom B3 which I like.
