pum pum Posted August 14, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hai I have a small problem with my M6, the frameline is stuck on 35mm it won't change even if I move the frameline lever. is this problem an easy fix? do I have to send it to leica service or a local repairman can do it easily? My M6 is the limited LHSA, I'm a bit afraid to send it to a local repairman, maybe I'm just a bit paranoid. I'm afraid that it'll be scratches or damage, but actually I've been sending my other leica not the limited one to this repairman and there's no problem. What do you suggested for me to do? Local definitely faster n cheaper but Leica service definitely make me comfortable. Here at my country don't have any leica service center so I have to send it overseas. Thanks for you help. akiralx Posted August 14, 2012 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2012 So the framelines will not change even if you mount another focal length?
andybarton Posted August 14, 2012 Share #3 Posted August 14, 2012 If you are worried about your local man, send it to Solms for a full service.
tobey bilek Posted August 26, 2012 Share #4 Posted August 26, 2012 Not a serious issue. When you send it in to Solmes, it will get a full CLA. They will not fix one item and return a camera with other deficiencies you may not know about.
