MarkP Posted August 17, 2012 Share #23 Posted August 17, 2012 The subjects, mood, and muted colours are lovely. I can't say the same for the out of focus areas which challenge my vestibular apparatus.
JeffoJeffo Posted August 17, 2012 Author Share #24 Posted August 17, 2012 Thanks Mark's comment. One of my interest is the bokeh. Want to learn study more about these old lenses's performance in colors n bokeh. Perhaps is all people like them but I find them quite interesting. Cheers... MarkP Posted August 17, 2012 Share #25 Posted August 17, 2012 I have an old Summitar which I use occasionally because of its softness and colour. The bokeh is also 'distressing' with more busy backgrounds. Better if the background is more simple. Regards, Mark

Perhaps those were 'defect' to the current standards. However I still find the bokeh very fascinating. Some offers oil painting, water painting, circular, etc effect. The old lenses had offered a new life on today's digital camera body. Cheers, Jeff
