Digilux 2 ticking/clicking sound - help please...

I have recently purchased a little used D2. It has had its sensor replaced. When turning on and off, or when it is exposed to bright lights, there is a quiet ticking or clicking noise to be heard, coming from the front of the camera. I cannot be more specific than that. Has anybody else had a similar issue and do you know what it is?

Thanks Guys - glad to hear that this is not a fault! I have not read about this issue previously which is surprising given all the talk of silent shooting.

 

I am enjoying getting back to basics with the D2 and hope to post some pics soon. The challenge now is to see if I can live without my Nikon DSLR and sell my gear to finance a M8 or M9....

Well, silent shooting. I'd be surprised if you can hear it more than one foot off.
