Please pardon the polarizer effects in the sky.  This was quickly processed.

Hello, I am new and this is my first post. Looking to shoot a Digital Leica and found a used one from ebay and made a good bid. Is this camera worth getting today. Any workflow issues, or software issues. Good lens, Good colors.

Im looking forward to seeing all the images posted here.

Recently picked up a unused X2 for a great price. Here are few in-camera jpegs I took when I first used it.

A rare find, an unused X2. Was it lurking on a dealer's shelves?

No, I bought it from the original owner who never really used it.

This is my first Leica. I usually shoot with Fujifilm mirrorless, so I’m still getting used to how the X2 operates. It’s quite a different experience!

You mention Fuji mirrorless, and between Fuji and Leica X, while they differ both are good.  I like Fuji lots, but have found the files from the Leica X cameras easier to get what I thought I saw and what I am after,  particularly for texture in landscape. Processing Fuji in Photoshop though has improved, and I am processing mostly RAF (Fuji raw).

I really like that Fuji still offer APS-C cameras (at least 2 models) with optical finders and find it sad that Leica of all companies are going the other way with exception of the M line. Of course the X cameras are designed around analog controls and I think that contributes to their charm and staying power! Enjoy your X2! :)

Our local library in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho has had a problem with someone hiding any book that is not favorable to Donald Trump. Steven Colbert the late night talk show host sent an oversized copy of one of the books that seems to go missing. Very funny.
