Help !! Purple lines across all images

I am searching threads to see if I can find what this might be

 

I am finding these on all imported images with different lenses and different cards, I am using LR 4 which I have just upgraded this is on an M9-P can anyone help :(

On LR3 all is well :confused:

That's bizarre. I'd do a full remove and reinstall of LR4 including all the camera profiles. I'm using LR4 and I definately don't have this issue.

 

Did you references the original file from the same location? If you used LR to copy the files (to two separate locations) then the LR4 import may have corrupted the files as they were copied.

Check your card reader too. It looks like a read/write error. Did you have demanding programs running in the background when you were working on these files?

I had similar issues when using the USB port on the camera for downloading the images. The USB port on the front of the computer yielded random purple horizontal lines (not all the way across like yours). The USB port on the back of the computer did not produce any purple lines. I attributed these results to a bad USB port.

 

LR4 may be attempting to communicate with the card faster than LR3??? Good luck.

Yes yes

 

Try reimporting that image.

 

I dislike moving files because of fragmentation problems and other issues.

 

I do not like using programs that require a library.
