Whitetailz Posted April 30, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted April 30, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Â I lost the protective screw-on ring on the lens of my D-Lux 4. I am trying unsuccessfully to google the part number or find a place where they sell it online. Any hints or suggestion much appreciated. I am in Thailand. Blindjock Posted April 30, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted April 30, 2012 This is the screw in cover that fits on the end of the lens? Â I think, if I've understood correctly, the Panasonic version (for the LX3) is part no. VGK3437. That one is black but there a silver version too. Â You could try a Panasonic service centre and see if they will sell you it. It is available in the USA for about $19.
Blindjock Posted April 30, 2012 Share #3  Posted April 30, 2012 Actually, Panasonic UK sell it for £11 to the public and normally they will only supply parts to their single repair centre.  So you should have no problem getting it from Panasonic in Thailand.
