Advertisement Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Hi Rick, Take a look here "Chilling" in Kona. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted April 29, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 29, 2012 Rich, A great shot with the composition, colors and sharpness. You were perfectly positioned to catch the reflection of the church steeple in the puddle of water. Paul
Bob Jackson Posted May 4, 2012 Share #3 Posted May 4, 2012 You know Rick, this place never looks real. Walt Disney was there 20 minutes before you.
leicamann Posted May 5, 2012 Share #4 Posted May 5, 2012 The light here is very peculiar, this is a place that I would go to again and again. I know the shot is "true" just by looking at the folks further back, but the weird light off the water is doing something strange. I think my approach would be to reduce the image to a few very, very simple elements and the water..then do a couple "custom WB" and all in RAW.. in the end I would have wasted at least 200 to 300 frames, easily. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
