JRM, For the color version, please follow the link in my signature. ..Thought so..the colour version is so much better.. why did you post a B&W version?.....I know there is this B&W thing going on an if it goes on long enough it might make people at Ilford films very happy.. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
k-hawinkler Posted April 16, 2012 Author Share #8 Posted April 16, 2012 Hi JRM, Good question. Well. Some folks on this site seem to prefer B&W. Also, I thought this particular B&W conversion seemed to work out pretty well. Now, here for you the color version. One particular problem, with showing high-resolution landscape images here on this forum, is that due to pixel- and size-constraints they lose a lot of their otherwise visual impact. Iduna Posted April 16, 2012 Share #9 Posted April 16, 2012 K-H., amazing image, reminds me of one of these "wide views" with defined sharpness like those of A.Adams. Great!

B&W is nice and I do love my Agfa APX 100 and Ilford films, but I am also a colour junky and just love colour like this, its gorgeous. Thanks again Cheers, JRM
allamande Posted April 17, 2012 Share #14 Posted April 17, 2012 Yes, color is gorgeous, almost shimmering. But, the BW version, in this case, has a very different emotional pull for me, stimulating the senses toward a heightened awareness. The longer I look at it, the powerful the effect. It's quite amazing. Ece
k-hawinkler Posted April 17, 2012 Author Share #15 Posted April 17, 2012 Ece, Thank you. The two versions affect me very differently as well.
