After WW II a number of these little wooden minesweepers were given to European countries like Holland and Belgium to help build up their navies. They were completely demagnetized, but quite uncomfortable as soon as anything like a wave was on the sea. Sailors claim they will roll on a heavy dew. This is one that was built in Belgium in 1946, presumably from left-over parts. It is now a little museum ship.
