JE Posted April 9, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 9, 2012 1st photo would have been interesting had the woman's face been in focus and everything else out of focus...as is, I don't think the photos work. Nothing interesting. No real composition. There doesn't seem to be any thought behind them. Snapshots. I'm just as guilty of taking these kinds shots....editing editing editing JE

JE Posted April 10, 2012 Share #4 Posted April 10, 2012 All comments are appreciated and advise welcome. Regards Here's the advice I got when I first found this place...whether or not I've learned from it is another story.. Think about what you like, what's interesting to you. Find it in other people's photos. Try to create similar photos. DO WHAT INTERESTS YOU. Get in close. You'll learn how to compose an image as you practice. One piece of advice I never got but wish I had: Ignore 99.98% of the images on flickr and the adulation given. Anyone can take an image in a crowd. Not everyone can see an image in a crowd. Edward77 Posted April 11, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted April 11, 2012 Thank you. The camera is with me all the time now and I am constantly looking and thinking of what to shoot. My technical knowledge needs improving but I guess it's all about practice!!
