matts Posted April 5, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted April 5, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I noticed that my Elmarit 28 ASPH never gets touched anymore and I find my chrome 50 Summicron (latest version), while beautiful, to be heavy and odd looking on my black cameras. I was thinking if it was a reasonable trade if I attempted to get a 50 Summilux ASPH for it. Â Would I be ripping myself off? Would anyone consider something like this? Â Thanks
Advertisement Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Hi matts, Take a look here Elmarit 28mm + 50 Cron = 50 Lux?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
delander †Posted April 5, 2012 Share #2  Posted April 5, 2012 Problem is those who have a 50 Summilux ASPH very rarely want to part with it, especially now that they are so hard to obtain.  Jeff
kokoshawnuff Posted April 5, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted April 5, 2012 If you are intent on a one lens set, then why not go for it. It seems as though all the lenses are becoming more readily available, if you get on a wait list for a Summilux you have a better chance of getting one soon than waiting or looking for someone to trade you. You should be able to sell your Elmarit and cron for a good price, and if you find yourself wanting the 28mm again one day it should be readily available
