Lightwrangler Posted April 5, 2012 Share #4 Posted April 5, 2012 Assumed it is not a scratch on the negative it sounds like a defect scanner. Could you post an example? Otherwise you should contact support asap. Mike
Stealth3kpl Posted April 5, 2012 Share #5 Posted April 5, 2012 Presumably, a scanner can have a line of dead pixels just like any old M9:eek: I mean digital camera. Pete
mdruziak Posted April 9, 2012 Share #6 Posted April 9, 2012 hi there has anybody ever seen a think black line on their scan? It's really thin and always on the same place. Anybody know what I can do about it? Hi Mark from Plustek here. Make sure that you aren't scanning a scratched negative. Do you get the line scanning at both 3600 dpi and 7200 dpi? Does it go horizontally or vertically thru your images. Either way, you should contact the Plustek support group in your region after you are certain the problem isn't being caused by scratched negatives. | Plustek Germany | Plustek >Contact Us >Technical Support Mark Mark
