Frank Sellitto Posted April 5, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 5, 2012 I frequently see couples haivng their wedding portraits taken in Grand Central Terminal, but I never quite know why they select this venue. I'd ask myself the same. Very good captures. ~f

Spo Posted April 5, 2012 Share #4 Posted April 5, 2012 I know a few couples from here who got married there...it is an iconic location! I'm more concerned about a wedding photographer who turns up to shoot a wedding looking like he's on his day off, not portraying a great image at all...and yes he holds his camera weirdly
stuny Posted April 5, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted April 5, 2012 Thank you for your comments. When I see wedding portraits done here (and before 9-11, done at World Financial Center where my office used to be) they were just portraits of the couple (and sometimes the wedding party), but usually not on the date of the wedding. In the case of the Chinese couples, the photos were usually several months before the weddings.
leicamann Posted April 5, 2012 Share #6 Posted April 5, 2012 Stuart in situations like this I would have been bold enough or tactless enough to ask if they didn't mind that I take a few as well..keeping in mind the "timing" not to interfere with Mr "Holds SLR Weirdly".. just my take Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM

Peyton Hoge Posted April 8, 2012 Share #9 Posted April 8, 2012 what a weird way to hold an SLR... Doesn't matter how you hold it, as long as you get the photo you want.
