Advertisement Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hi marc_dufour, Take a look here Dusk over the lagoon. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
leicamann Posted April 4, 2012 Share #2 Posted April 4, 2012 Daring shot..right into the sun. At this point it would really help you alot if you shot in RAW. This way you could reclaim much of the stuff that is lost to shadow and get the colour balance better. Photoshop CS6 Beta is a free trial for 60 days, its the best that Adobe has ever come out with including the new Camera Raw 7.24. Thanks for sharing Cheers, JRM
marc_dufour Posted April 5, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted April 5, 2012 JRM I shot in RAW, openning it with Canon DPP, and later using CS3 on a LaCie 324 monitor. The picture is as I wanted it, with three bright zones vertically aligned in the left third part, and merging in almost black on the right side. Nothing interesting to save or to stand out in the shadows. Thanks for look and comment. Best regards
leicamann Posted April 5, 2012 Share #4 Posted April 5, 2012 Ok, there is a huge difference with Camera RAW 7.2.... I used to use Flexlight..but prefer the new Adobe camera RAW. Cheers, JRM

Iduna Posted April 6, 2012 Share #6 Posted April 6, 2012 Marc, I like the toning and the composition anyway. There is a special crisp touch which makes it magnificent.
