Remember the Filterview Polar adaptor ring kit. I bought one several years ago and was always disappointed. It is poorly made and tends to bend very easily. The adaptor groves were poorly actually shoddily produced and made screwing on and off an adventure... Well, desperation finally lead me to contact SK Grimes in Rhode Island at the behest of B+W (Kevin Cruise) and I sent them the kit and they remade it in high quality anodized aluminum. I received it today and the quality is amazing. I love my polarizer and wanted to let everyone know about this. Just use my name and here is the website: S.K. Grimes Services for Large Format Photographers, CNC Photographer's Machinist Ask for Lauren. It will take a whiel to make and tehy only made the 46-60 and the 55-60 adaptors for me but I did not require the 43-60. Furthermore, they made the adaptors and the polar filter holder even slimmer than the original to minimize any potential vignetting. I hope that you will check this out.:)

Is this the swing-away Leica polariser 13356 you refer to?

I've had and used one for years with no problems. Did you have SKG remake the entire kit?

I don't have a picture of it but it is similar to the Filterview one. It is slimmer by a few mm and MUCH BETTER BUILT. The quality difference is amazing. The initial filterview design in my opinion is superior to the Leica swinging one BUT the filterview is just cheaply made and this caused alot of problems over the years. SK GRimes has solved the problems by building a high quality product.:)

I made my own from a step-up ring. It cost me 7.50$ for the ring and looks as good or better, and certainly cannot bend. So I saved myself 122.50 $ by 15 min. DIY. Not bad :)

Sorry if you saw this before, I did post it sometime ago.
