1JB Posted March 1, 2012 Share #42 Β Posted March 1, 2012 Chasing "better" sensors really becomes a merry-go-round ride that you just have to get off for a generation or two. "Bigger" sensor results in larger files, which results in larger sd cards, slower transfer times, a new computer, more backup storage, and then a new camera with a "bigger and better" sensor comes out ... I've reached the point with the M9 and my prints that there is usually too much detail in faces for comfort leading me to smooth out imperfections in pp and just enough detail in landscapes up to the 17x24 limit of my printer. What I'd jump for would be more dynamic range.
