pauledell Posted February 18, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted February 18, 2012 A nice series. I particularly like the first and fourth shots the most with the horses resting their chin on the fence rail. Great framing, tones and sharpness. Â Paul
kokoshawnuff Posted February 18, 2012 Author Share #4 Â Posted February 18, 2012 Thank you Paul and JRM for the kind comments. Â JRM: I use an Epson V700 with ANR glass for web and small prints (like these), but for very large prints I use a Plustek 7400.
leicamann Posted February 18, 2012 Share #5 Â Posted February 18, 2012 Lots of talk about the PlusTek 7400..does it actually put out 7400 DPI? Â Cheers< JRM
kokoshawnuff Posted February 18, 2012 Author Share #6 Â Posted February 18, 2012 not that I've heard of from anyone but plustek. I've read that the actual achievable resolution is ~3800dpi if scanning at 7200dpi, but I've found that even scanning at 2400dpi gets me great results (nice 16x24 prints).
