Simon Lewin Posted February 24, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted February 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello there, Â I'm geniunely very impressed with the battery life that I'm getting from my D-Lux 3. Â Admittedly I'm not taking lots of photos but it's great to see the battery looking so healthy when it's been left in a bag for a few days. Getting much better life than with any previous digital camera `I've owned. Â Is there anything I should do to 'condition' the battery? I remember that common wisdom used to be to let batteries discharge fully to keep them in top condition. Â But I don't know if that's the case with today's batteries. Â Any thoughts/guidance would be appreciated. Â Best, Â Simon
rjans Posted February 24, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted February 24, 2007 These are Li-on batteries and should not show the memory effect when compared with Ni-MH batteries. You can always charge the battery an do not need to drain it. When not in use I charge the battery once a month or so.
