Bill Allsopp Posted January 13, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I went for a wander around a local town to test my new X1 this morning. This shot was taken at 3200 iso and is included with a 960 x 640 crop from the file to let you see a bit closer. Shot from the hip. I am pleased with the low level of noise, especially as this was a very contrasty day and I have had to apply both recovery and fill light to this image. I have not applied any noise reduction. wda Posted January 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2012 A very good street candid, Bill, of a difficult subject culturally. Noise is not an issue. But unless it was a deliberate test, why did you choose to use 3200 in such a location in daylight?
Bill Allsopp Posted January 14, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted January 14, 2012 why did you choose to use 3200 in such a location in daylight? Just to test the file quality at that iso (probably not an ideal teat either since noise will probably be more in a low light situation )
