pauledell Posted November 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) My wife asked me to take a family picture (unfortunately our son is living in Florida) so we included our dogs Max, the Irish Setter, Butch, the Boxer and Tommy, the Rhodesian Ridgeback Hound. Taken with my D-Lux 4. Paul

pauledell Posted November 3, 2011 Author Share #13 Posted November 3, 2011 Larry, Ernst, Tri and Ece,--- Thanks but you have no idea what I had to do to round up the kids long enough to get this picture. Never in a million years would I have an opportunity to join them using a delay timer. Ivan, Stuart, Virgil, Michael, Henry and Ben,--- I am overwhelmed by your kid response. Mark,--- Yes, we are very fortunate that the kids are usually well behaved. Again thanks to all. Paul

pauledell Posted November 5, 2011 Author Share #16 Posted November 5, 2011 +1self timer and tripod might help Dario, I have a tripod and the D-Lux 4 has a self-timer, but what I didn't have was three dogs that were interested to have their picture taken. Had I tried to get into the picture, they would have scattered in three directions. Anyhow, I like my cameras too well for me to break the lenses when I get in the picture. schmolinski Posted November 5, 2011 Share #18 Posted November 5, 2011 Paul, i agree, and this a good argument. But as long as are holding them there might be a chance to get you in focus. Nice picture anyhow. Cheers, Dario
