stuny Posted November 1, 2011 Share #1 Posted November 1, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Saturday there was a freak snowstorm locally, The first of its kind since perhaps the ice age. The trees were almost in full foliage so they captured far more of the heavy snow than they normally would have, taking down many trees and major limbs. This is what Central Park and the southern edge of Columbus Circle looked like from the 9th floor restaurant at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) at about noon, not long after the storm began. You can see some additional photos of dancers in the snow on Columbus Circle by clicking this link:http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/people/207479-perhaps-madness-runs-her-family-4-a.html. pauledell Posted November 1, 2011 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2011 Stuart, An exceptional picture of NYC during the storm. I hope things will return to normal soon. It sounds like there are lots of people without electricity. Paul
