robert blu Posted October 31, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 31, 2011 The almost monochrome atmospehre and the light in the day 13 photo are a good combination. Nothing special but it works well. I like it. robert
vdb Posted October 31, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 31, 2011 Thanks for sharing this diary Tim. Glad to see you using photography as part of your healing.
andybarton Posted October 31, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 31, 2011 Thanks for these. Keep it up. The first week after chemo is the worst, then it gets a bit better, then you're back in the chair again. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat.... Then, you get to the last session, and things look a bit more rosy going forwards. Very best wishes to you and your family, loved ones and friends, who often get forgotten at this time and are also "suffering" vicariously.
Prosophos Posted October 31, 2011 Share #5 Posted October 31, 2011 Day 11: I admire your intense, unflinching gaze. Day 13: very appropriate title and I appreciate it on a an aesthetic level. Keep going. Peter.
stuny Posted October 31, 2011 Share #6 Posted October 31, 2011 Tim - I'm so glad you are continuing this series and I hope your chemo is successful and minimally intrusive to your comfort. Day 13 is especially fine.
Timmyjoe Posted October 31, 2011 Author Share #7 Posted October 31, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Robert. Thanks Virgil. Thanks Andy. You know the routine. I'm on a one week, five days (5-7 hrs per day) of infusion, then two weeks to recover regimen, for four cycles. Secondary side effects (mouth sores and the lot) kicked in Saturday, hope I can best them before next Monday when we start the cycle over again. Thanks for the encouragement. Thanks Peter. I can see why those two work. Thanks Stuart. I too hope the chemo is successful, and statistics are in my favor, unfortunately the "minimally intrusive to your comfort" ain't anywhere near happening. But it's survivable and the picture making helps keep the spirits up. Thanks again everyone. Best, -Tim
