Shot from a helicopter- Roter Kamm Crater is located in southern Namibia. The asteroid that created this crater about 5 million years ago was estimated to be about 275 meters in diameter (900 feet). The crater is about 2.5 Kilometers in diameter (1.5 miles) and 130 meters deep (400 feet).

Thanks for viewing.

Mike, a lovely shot, and indeed the only way to capture such a feature. Where exactly is the crater?

Regards

Charles

Thank you Charles- The Crater's located about 90 nautical miles or 170 kms as the crow flies, south-east of Luderitz.
