Mantice Posted August 22, 2013 Share #61  Posted August 22, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) Your choice, but one must take Lloyd with a grain of salt lately. If you want I can see if Sean Reid has done reviews on both. His subscriptions are lengthy, but he uses M glass a lot. I own the 28/2 and am contemplating getting the 28/2.8 only for filter ease on long trips if I have many 39mm filter size lenses along. Never concentrated on the 39's, but since getting a APO 50 I will not be without one in bag or on camera. The 46mm filter size lenses are plenty.  That would be nice! Do you think his review will be more objective towards lens characteristic?  I'm waiting for my 50 APO though, ordered on Feb. Lucky you.

semi-ambivalent Posted August 23, 2013 Share #62  Posted August 23, 2013 Hey—what!? Mo' bigger is mo' better, don't you know?  Such images from that Elmarit, and with just four elements. Four! There's some kind of voodoo goin' on there.  s-a
