Advertisement Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Hi viramati, Take a look here London meet. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
George James Posted October 24, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 24, 2011 David, An excellent suggestion. The opportunity for a get together in a pub for lunch, drink and a good chat would suit me fine.

andybarton Posted October 24, 2011 Share #6 Posted October 24, 2011 (edited) How about here? Magnum Contact Sheets | Magnum Events Worth travelling 200 miles on a train for. (Not that the pub for lunch, drink and a good chat aren't of course ) Edit: Unfortunately, they are not open on Saturdays - not very user-friendly... Regardless, I will try to make an effort to go when I am next in London. It looks very interesting. earleygallery Posted October 24, 2011 Share #8 Posted October 24, 2011 I'd be up for a meet, as long as it doesn't clash with a Quins home fixture! A gallery visit then pub sounds good.

viramati Posted October 24, 2011 Author Share #10 Posted October 24, 2011 Ok I would suggest 12th or 13th November. cant do the one after as I am a workshop.
ejd Posted October 25, 2011 Share #11 Posted October 25, 2011 I'd be very happy to join the party. John
George James Posted October 25, 2011 Share #12 Posted October 25, 2011 David, Unfortunately there is engineering work on the railways for the weekend you have suggested. The weekend before (5th and 6th) and (26th and 27th November) appear to be OK.
spylaw4 Posted October 25, 2011 Share #13 Posted October 25, 2011 Also the 12th is the day scheduled for the Lord Mayor's Show in and around the City. Photo ops galore, but lots of crowds jamming the place, and many roads in the city and around the Strand/Embankment are shut. Fireworks on the river at 5 pm. photolotse Posted October 25, 2011 Share #14 Posted October 25, 2011 Hi everybody, I really enjoyed the July's London Meet which I have been able to participate in and I would be happy to have an another possibility to see you guys again. Currently I'm at home in rainy Hamburg, Germany but I'll be back in London on Monday, 31st of October - what a lucky coincidence :-) Since I don't know yet how long I'm going to stay this time a November 5th or 6th date would be preferable for me. Take care, Carsten
Tim B Posted October 25, 2011 Share #15 Posted October 25, 2011 Great idea. I'm up for it if I'm free. Saturdays only for me and 5th November is possible as would be 19th. Tim
bartok Posted October 25, 2011 Share #16 Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) I've missed the last couple of meets, so it would be great to catch up with everyone. Apart from the 12th, any Sat in November is good for me. Edited October 25, 2011 by bartok mistake with date
earleygallery Posted October 25, 2011 Share #17 Posted October 25, 2011 (edited) Also the 12th is the day scheduled for the Lord Mayor's Show in and around the City.Photo ops galore, but lots of crowds jamming the place, and many roads in the city and around the Strand/Embankment are shut. Fireworks on the river at 5 pm. 13th is Remembrance Sunday so also issues with travelling in and around town. 12th would be fine if we avoid the city. Go West!! George has pointed out days when there's less disruption so maybe one of those is best? Edited October 25, 2011 by earleygallery
lanetomlane Posted October 26, 2011 Share #18 Posted October 26, 2011 Depending on the date I would be interested, but only have the weekend of 26/27th free. __________________ Cheers, Tom
MartinEB Posted October 28, 2011 Share #19 Posted October 28, 2011 Hi I would be keen to join in also. 19th is possibly less good for me. I agree with going west. Martin
