Got my new M9-P and 50mm Summicron

Finally got my new black Leica M9-P and a second hand Summicron 50mm.

Been missing my Leica since I sold my M8 and 35mm Summilux last. I deeply regret selling the 35. But till I get a new 35 my 50 Summicron will have to do.

 

So far loving the camera. Battery life sucks, but I got 2 spare batteries. Some pics with my new gem:

I'm glad you finally began posting - these are excellent. In the future I encourage you to post at least one or two images directly here along with links (instead of just links) since many of us will not click through without incentive to do so.

Great shots! Thanks for sharing, and congrats on a great pair.

 

I don't find the battery life that bad. I keep several in rotation myself. If I'm heading out for the day, I toss in a fresh one. Anything longer or if I expect a lot of shooting, I'll grab a spare - or all of them. I average about 300-400 shots per battery.
