It arrived UPS from Allendale, NJ. I live in California. I originally mailed the rebate form to Leica the day after I received it. That was the first week in January. I've gotten three letters now (since I confuse things by having an address in Israel and an address in the US). I registered the camera as paid for around Dec 20, received the first letter just before year end. I registered receiving the camera once I knew the serial number later in December and gave my US address. As a result I received the European second letter in early January with corrected European prices and received the US second letter with corrected US prices in late January. The 28 cron from Leica came with a 3 Year Passport Protection Plan and Limited Warranty. You can extend it for another 2 year period for an extra $75.
