artkooper Posted September 18, 2011 Share #1 Posted September 18, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) On eBay I see wide angle lenses, teleconvertors, UV and polarizing filters advertised, probably produced in the Far East.. The seem to be a interesting additions to the camera. Anyone has experience with these products? and, how can you connect the adapter ring to the camera? Advertisement Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Hi artkooper, Take a look here D Lux 5: filters and wide angle lens. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jankap Posted September 19, 2011 Share #2 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) The lenscap of your camera fits on a ring, which can be taken off (screwmount). For my Dlux-4 I have bought the Panasonic wide-angle lens (24mm -> 18mm). This lens is not cheap and not bad. You should take in account, that adding 4 or more glass objects (lens components) to the optical path is not optimal. It depends of what you want to produce. Small pictures pardon very much. Also, you have to carry these additions with you. It is my fault, that I tend to optimize my equipment instead of taking pictures. Jan By the way, very good is the automatic lenscap (see Enjoyyourcamera). Edited September 19, 2011 by jan_kappetijn
