That is indeed the Harbor of Refuge lighthouse, guarding the harbor at Lewes, Delaware. Just west of Cape Henlopen. The original house that started all this is the Snake Ranch, "designed" and built by four WW2 vets ("the Firecracker Boys") between 1947 and 1952, one of whom was John Piper, one of my uncles. And modified year by year ever since. It changed ownership about 1995. Pictures made with the permission of the new owners in 2003. Welcome, dear visitor!
