NigelG, since you identified a building correctly, and got us within 15 miles of the original house, the floor is yours.....

That is indeed the Harbor of Refuge lighthouse, guarding the harbor at Lewes, Delaware. Just west of Cape Henlopen.

The original house that started all this is the Snake Ranch, "designed" and built by four WW2 vets ("the Firecracker Boys") between 1947 and 1952, one of whom was John Piper, one of my uncles. And modified year by year ever since. It changed ownership about 1995. Pictures made with the permission of the new owners in 2003.

It is about 10 miles west of Rehoboth Beach, DE, on Burton Prong, a backwater of Rehoboth Bay.

"Code blue - Code blue!"

Since this thread has gone into cardiac arrest - here's a new one to get it pumping again. Continues the lighthouse theme.

We tried Michael, Nigel is evidently having tech issues again. I'll post an easy one (hopefully)  in order to get this thread going again.

I think we could be in Michigan State....at the Broad art museum

Zaha Hadid was a fan of Issey Miyake clothes so maybe didn't look too far for inspiration here.

(Sorry again for being unable to get threads/following to work properly. Trying again!)

Ok - it seems that although I have "Notifications" turned on for threads I post in etc there is a browser setting that over-rides the forum which  means I only get notifications if the forum is an active browser window - I'll try to find out what I've done.......

This is exactly why I prefer to use an M rather than my other all-singing all-dancing other cameras!
