Hello Brian,

 

Nice photo of what appears to be a relatively recent addition to a 50 or 70 year old building.

 

The brickwork looks Dutch & the sky looks like we are not too far from some body of water.

Well Michael your surmises are not too far out. The original building is a lot older though and is not Dutch, it is a recent addition, and it is quite close to a body of water.

Hello Brian,

 

Altho the brickwork is a style that has been used for a long time. The mortar appears to be of a type that was invented sometime in the middle 19th Century. I guessed the date of the older part of the building from the style of the trim on the older part of the structure. It is a style that was popular following the Second World War. Altho it was also used during the second half of the 19th & in the early 20th Century.

 

Pehaps Belgium or Denmark?

The original part of the building dates from early 19th C, now of course refurbished.
