Advertisement Posted February 11, 2007 Posted February 11, 2007 Hi okram, Take a look here IR filter for ZM 21/2,8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
grober Posted February 11, 2007 Share #2 Â Posted February 11, 2007 Marko, Â The Zeiss Biogon T* 21mm lens takes a standard 46mm filter. You can either wait for the Leica-branded filter, size 46mm, to become available OR buy the Schneider B+W 486 IR-cut filter in size 46mm. I also know Heliopan to have an IR-cut filter in size 46mm. Â Any of these three would perform well on your Biogon. I have two B+W 486 filters and am pleased with what I'm seeing now. Â Enjoy your M8! okram Posted February 11, 2007 Author Share #3 Â Posted February 11, 2007 Thanks. I was afraid that the filters from Leica (and lenses) have some different type of screw (like haselblad has bayounet for filters..) So, a M8 body and 50/1.4 are being ordered tommorow. Do I add diameters to the order, for the free filters, and will I receive the body with the filters allready, or I have to register and order after receiving the body? I hope I dont ask stupid questions. Â Â M
larry Posted February 11, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted February 11, 2007 Marko, Â You'll need to order the filter sizes of your choice online after you get the camera. The necessary information for ordering is packaged with the camera. Â Larry
