jscottyk Posted February 10, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted February 10, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've uploaded two sets of NeatImage noise reduction profiles for the M8. A set with raw conversions made with C1 and a set from RAW Developer. For conversions I used the default M8 camera profiles provided with the respective programs. All sharpening and noise reduction was turned off during the conversion. Â There are six profiles in each set; 640, 1250 and 2500 iso for the calibration target shot under D50 lighting and and overcast sky on a February day in Austin. Later this evening I'm going to produce one more set with the target shot under regular 'ole incandescent. Â These were made on Mac, but I think they should work on PC's too. Â Have fun. Use them as you see fit. Your milage may vary. No warranty implied. Swim at your own risk. Don't forget to brush your teeth and comb your hair. jscottyk Posted February 10, 2007 Author Share #6 Â Posted February 10, 2007 You're welcome. Let me know how they work for you. I'm not certain the different light sources will make a big difference but it's worth testing.
