Firmware version 1.10 is necessary for automatically eliminating the red vignetting (aka cyan corners) issue with IR cut filters and some wide-angle lenses. Â unless the problem specific profile is used to correct the color shifting. You can fix the shifting from black to magenta using colour profiles, but not IR-induced colour shifts in general. An IR cut filter is the only universally applicable fix available.

Hiro,  The IR sensitivity isn't something that a firmware change can fix. What 1.10 will do is to compensate for the cyan drift when 35 mm and wider coded lenses are used with 486 filters.
