Last summer I passed through Penn Station on the way back from visiting one of our branches on Long Island. I saw this advert adhered to the risers of the stairs leading to Madison Square Garden and the street. More NY photos on the four New York pages on our site.

Nicely seen! Bizarre effect. (There's quite a bit of this stair-riser advertising now...tho I recall from my childhood - decades ago! -the same thing being done typographically on railroad-footbridge stairs. Plus ca change!)
