Advertisement Posted June 17, 2011 Posted June 17, 2011 Hi wilfredo, Take a look here A Bit of Syria.... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wilfredo Posted June 17, 2011 Author Share #2 Posted June 17, 2011 I took the above photo of my friend Naziha after a meeting of the Interfaith Council of Garden Grove, CA. She shared that close to 1000 civilians have been killed in Syria recently. She is a woman of peace. I should mention that right after 9/11, this woman sat in my congregation during Mass, and wept through the whole thing. My dreams for peace in the world remain alive. schmolinski Posted June 17, 2011 Share #3 Posted June 17, 2011 Wilfredo, interesting portrait of a face marked by sorrow. Interesting here is she tries to smile although she probably has no real reason to do so currently.
wilfredo Posted June 18, 2011 Author Share #4 Posted June 18, 2011 Interesting observation Dario. I agree. There is little to smile about what is happening in the Middle East in general.
