That is a beautiful photo. If it was film, I hope you rewound it very slowly!

 

I told my bride about your walk in this stuff, and her comment was you guys should move further south. She just went outside in 14 degrees (10 C) and was none too pleased with the temperature.

Bill, the whole trick is dressing right for this stuff. I had long johns under lined pants, turtle neck under a heavy sweater, a Marmot coat heavy enough to use on Mt. Everest, a balaclava, insulated boots, heavy gloves and ski goggles. The wind chill when I shot this was -35 F, but I was actually pretty warm. Normally I encounter several people on the bike path I was walking on, but yesterday for some reason I was out there all alone.
