I visited a flea market today and found myself drawn to the dolls and paintings I saw in the different stalls. There is a sadness about these orphaned objects waiting to be rescued. Here are a few. M8, 35mm Summicron, ASPH.

Thank you Stuart, Stefan, and Paul. I never really know what will grab my attention on a given day but I could have spent the whole morning doing this. I plan to go back, it seems abandoned dolls have reached a crisis level and this needs to be documented. LOL.

How ironic that in the second image there is an upside down flag, which is a distress signal.

Thank you Dave and Aurea for the comments, they are much appreciated.

The mega flea market at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California is buzzing with activity on Saturday morning. It is a great place to get lost with an M camera.

@Auria:

I agree. These are only dolls yet there is a sadness about them. One would think they were lost children in a crowded market.

@Dave: Leica digital M's make for what I believe is B&W photography with real character and flavor. Once you've captured the image, it is a genuine satisfaction to do PP, you've got something to work with.
