Guest guy_mancuso Posted February 6, 2007 Share #22 Â Posted February 6, 2007 Sure it may take me a day or two , on a project right now but it is a RRS plate with a slot and a simple Sunpack hand grip from B&H that i took apart and just reassembled but it is not perfect either but it does work. Now i think about there is shots of it on a thread here. M8 accesories , I showed some hoods and the grip, may have to search for it

It is also an Arca Swiss plate with a very nice leather grip attached. Makes the whole rig feel much more stable> I also have the Leica grip which helps as well.  Woody Spedden
mitchell Posted February 6, 2007 Share #26 Â Posted February 6, 2007 Thanks Guy and Woody, Â I'm wondering about just using a wrist strap. Â I have the same RRS plate that Guy has with the strap slot to attach to. I wouldn't have the hand strap uncomfortably in the way that Guy mentions.I'd get sucurity against dropping, and I could dangle the camera when I needed both hands. Â Does the hand strap really give you more than a wrist strap off the bottom would? Â Thanks, Â Mitchell
