Since I am experimenting with a new pp style, let me know the good and the bad. Tri:)

ezc203 Posted June 8, 2011 Share #9 Posted June 8, 2011 Love the drama added by the brooding clouds. Ahhh Venezia.. Makes me miss Italy.
Steve Ash Posted June 8, 2011 Share #10 Posted June 8, 2011 In my point of view the bridge is too bright. There is a dark sky and the streets lights are on. In this respect an evenly lighted bright bridge does not look natural to my eyes. I like the composition though. Regards Steve

I looked at the original and found that part of the bridge was bright because of its proximity to the lamps. Following your advice and appropriate changes, I believe the conversion looks a lot better. Tri:)

pauledell Posted June 9, 2011 Share #14 Posted June 9, 2011 Tri, I agree with Larry. The revisited version is an improvement. I don't see how it can be improved any more. Paul
vdb Posted June 9, 2011 Share #15 Posted June 9, 2011 Great work Tri. The second is best. The first seems HDR and less natural.
tmldds Posted June 10, 2011 Author Share #16 Posted June 10, 2011 Thank you, Virgil. I believe I will go back to this photo and strike a balance between the 1st and 2nd version. Tri:)
tmldds Posted June 10, 2011 Author Share #17 Posted June 10, 2011 Thank you, Virgil. I believe I will go back to this photo and strike a balance between the 1st and 2nd version because I feel the 2nd version is too emotionally detached.
