Doc Henry Posted June 8, 2011 Author Share #7  Posted June 8, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) #1 is "impresionistic" . . . #2 is kind of "abstract" . . . neat ! Dave thank you for your feedback: i will remember the word "Impressionistic" and "abstract" .  Henry,You make these poppies look so beautiful with the vibrant colors. sharpness, lighting and framing.Paul Thank you Dave and Paul, I love the poppies and I'm lucky to be in a region where the poppies are everywhere, which means we do not have much fertilizer in fields  Credit goes mostly first to Fuji film and secondly to the camera (with its optics) and Epsonscanner V700 (with ANR Glass)** , In the photos of poppies, I think first that the pictures obtained from a film are more "pretty" to see and are closer to reality than what I get with my M9 or M8.  Quite honestly, the poppy has more consistency with thicker petal, which is "consistent"with reality. The petal of the M8 and M9 is "too thin"  One last important note: the film has "grain", so it has this "painting" side  In total, we have a picture more faithful to reality as the high fidelity of the image (such as high-fidelity of sound)  Best Henry  **http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/film-forum/160651-epson-v700-750-very-good-our-11.html  and the last photo for Dave and for Paul :  Variation on the theme of colors (may 2011) : red ,green, purple ..... film Fuji Reala 100 R4S (or Leicaflex SL) R 135mm Elmarit
